Jun 2009 -- Thanks to the Peruvian researcher Milka N. Tello Villavicencio for drawing my attention to five additional theses of South American students dealing with Minthostachys!

Apr 2009 -- Another new section. From now on, I will not only put new articles on Minthostachys that I discover into the list of literature, but I will also explicitely summarize the progress in research. This could be seen as a continuous literature review, with this review article serving as the starting point and assumed to be known. I have also added several theses from Latin American universities to the list of literature

Mar 2009 -- Redesigned the site a bit, added several recent articles to the list of literature and a new section on essential oils and uses.

Jun 2008 -- The monograph of Minthostachys has now been published. As a supplemental service, digital images of most of the type specimens have been added to the species and photos section.

Jul 2007 -- Some new photographs, among them the first of Minthostachys septentrionalis.

Nov 2006 -- Added a number of new entries to the literature list.

Sep 2006 -- The taxonomic revision of Minthostachys has been accepted for publication. Also added a few new photos.

Jan 2006 -- Added various new photos and a version in Spanish. Thanks to Jorge Jácome for helping me with the translation!
